BYD Ti7 Launched in Egypt Starting from EGP 2.349 Million

Dream Motors, the official distributor of BYD in Egypt, has officially unveiled the BYD Ti7 boxy SUV in a major launch event. The vehicle comes with a comprehensive warranty of 6 years or 150,000 km, alongside an 8-year or 200,000 km battery warranty, and 6 years of complimentary roadside assistance.

BYD Ti7 Pricing in Egypt

The BYD Ti7 is offered in two trims. The first is the Ultra front-wheel-drive variant, priced at EGP 2,349,000. The second is the Luxury all-wheel-drive variant, priced at EGP 2,799,000.

Powertrain and Performance

The BYD Ti7 is powered by a 1.5-liter engine paired with a 26.6 kWh battery pack. The base trim delivers a combined output of 275 hp and 315 Nm of torque, while the higher trim produces 485 hp and 630 Nm. Power is sent through an E-CVT transmission. The total driving range is rated at 1,000 km.

The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, with a top speed of 190 km/h. Energy consumption stands at 18.7 kWh per 100 km. The fuel tank holds 60 liters, and the car features electric power steering. A full slow charge takes 4 hours, while a fast charge from 30% to 80% requires only 22 minutes.

Dimensions and Cargo Space

The BYD Ti7 measures 5,016 mm in length, 1,995 mm in width, and 1,865 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. Curb weight is 2,425 kg, and ground clearance is 190 mm. The cabin seats five passengers, and the trunk offers 970 liters of cargo space, expanding to 1,880 liters with the rear seats folded.

Exterior and Interior Features

Key exterior features include LED headlights and taillights, power-folding side mirrors, an electric tailgate, and a panoramic sunroof. Inside, the cabin is equipped with a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14-speaker audio system, a 50W wireless charger, voice commands, and four USB ports.
