BMW iX3 Neue Klasse 2026 Launched in Egypt at EGP 4.9 Million

Global Auto, the official distributor of BMW in Egypt, has officially launched the all-new all-electric BMW iX3 from the Neue Klasse family as a 2026 model. The vehicle is offered in a single trim designated 50 xDrive, featuring a 108.7 kWh battery pack that delivers a driving range of up to 805 kilometers. The new electric SUV is priced at EGP 4.9 million, positioning it as a premium contender in Egypt's growing electric vehicle market.

Powertrain and Performance

The BMW iX3 Neue Klasse is powered by a fully electric drivetrain representing the sixth generation of the company's renowned eDrive technology. It incorporates two electric motors producing a combined output of 469 horsepower and 645 Nm of torque. This setup enables the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 210 km/h. The vehicle also features the xDrive all-wheel-drive system for enhanced traction and stability across various driving conditions.

Battery, Range, and Fast-Charging Capabilities

The iX3 is equipped with a high-capacity 108.7 kWh lithium-ion battery, offering an estimated driving range between 678 km and 805 km on the European WLTP cycle. The vehicle supports ultra-fast DC charging at up to 400 kW, allowing it to add 372 km of range in just 10 minutes. A full charge from 10% to 80% can be completed in approximately 21 minutes. Additionally, the car supports bidirectional charging, enabling it to power external devices.

Exterior Design and Dimensions

The BMW iX3 features an entirely new design language distinct from the previous X3 generation. Highlights include matrix LED headlights inspired by classic BMW models, a small illuminated front grille, and a sporty front bumper. The side profile is characterized by dynamic lines, a sporty sill, and wheels available up to 22 inches. At the rear, full-width LED taillights and a roof spoiler complete the athletic look. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,782 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, 1,635 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,897 mm. Cargo capacity stands at 520 liters in the rear, with an additional 58 liters of storage space under the front hood.

Interior Technology and Features

Inside, the BMW iX3 Neue Klasse boasts a 17.9-inch central touchscreen paired with a head-up display projected onto the windshield. The cabin features a panoramic glass roof, eco-friendly materials, and premium Merino leather upholstery. The vehicle also includes a regenerative braking system, four control modules, a comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and over-the-air software update capability to ensure the car remains up to date with the latest features and improvements.
