The BAW brand has officially entered the Egyptian market for the first time through a new distributor, Strada Motors, established as a partnership between B Auto and Al Rezq. The company's debut comes with the introduction of the all-new BAW M7, marking the Chinese automaker's first locally available model in the multi-purpose minivan segment.

Large Seven-Seat Minivan for the Egyptian Market

The BAW M7 is offered in Egypt as a 2027 model and features a spacious seven-seat cabin. The vehicle measures 5.25 meters in length, 1.87 meters in width, and 1.95 meters in height, while riding on a 3.2-meter wheelbase that enhances interior space. The model also features sliding side doors for easier passenger access.

Engine, Features and Official Price

Power comes from a 1.6-liter gasoline engine producing 124 horsepower and 160 Nm of torque, paired with a manual transmission. The BAW M7 is also equipped with a rear leaf-spring suspension system, a setup commonly used in trucks and designed to handle heavy loads and demanding operating conditions.

The new BAW M7 is available in Egypt in a single trim level priced at EGP 990,000. Standard equipment includes parking cameras and sensors, smartphone connectivity for the infotainment display, air conditioning with separate controls providing cooling for all three seating rows, along with cup holders and charging ports for electronic devices.
