Egyptian Hajj Mission Claims Silver Shield at Saudi Labaytem Award for Outstanding Pilgrim Transportation Services
The Egyptian Hajj Mission has been awarded the Silver Shield at the Saudi 'Labaytem' Award for Excellence in Services for Guests of Allah, following its successful delivery of an integrated system encompassing transportation, accommodation, housing, and organizational services according to the highest quality standards.
Joint Coordination Among Specialized Missions
The Information Center of the Council of Ministers stated that the award recognizes the efforts exerted by the three specialized missions—'Al-Qura'a, Al-Tadamon, and Tourism'—and their joint coordination to meet pilgrims' needs, alongside implementing awareness and guidance programs that facilitated the performance of rituals and reflected Egypt's civilized image.
Full Adherence to Specified Timelines
The Egyptian mission adhered to implementing all phases of the Hajj program according to specified timelines, starting with contracting accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, booking camps in Arafat and Mina, providing transportation and catering services, and concluding with issuing pilgrim visas without delay.
Evaluation teams from the award conducted field visits to pilgrim accommodation centers and camps, meeting with numerous Egyptian pilgrims who expressed high levels of satisfaction and praise for the services provided, contributing to the Egyptian mission's recognition with one of the most prominent awards dedicated to excellence in serving Guests of Allah.
