Smart #3 2026 Electric in Egypt: Three Trims and Up to 540 km Range
Ezz El Arab Group, the local distributor of Smart in Egypt, is introducing the all-electric Smart #3 crossover SUV in three distinct trims within the Egyptian market. This move comes amid the significant expansion of electric vehicles and growing consumer demand in recent months.
Targeting EV Enthusiasts
The Smart #3 is aimed at buyers seeking electric vehicles with a sporty design and cutting-edge technology, offering advanced features, a competitive driving range, and lower operating costs compared to traditional combustion-engine cars.
Electric Motor with 268 HP
The Smart #3 is powered by an electric motor delivering up to 268 horsepower and 343 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. It provides a driving range of up to 440 kilometers on a single charge, with fast-charging capability from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes using a DC fast charger.
Sporty Brabus Trim with 429 HP
The Smart #3 is available with multiple powertrain options. The standard trims feature a rear-mounted electric motor producing 200 kW (equivalent to 272 hp), accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in under 7 seconds, with a range of up to 500 kilometers. The sporty Brabus trim, however, comes with dual electric motors and all-wheel drive, generating a total output of 429 hp. It can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, while offering a driving range of up to 540 kilometers.
Dimensions and Features
The Smart #3 measures 4,400 mm in length, 1,844 mm in width, and 1,556 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,785 mm, providing ample interior space and stable handling.
