ROX 01 Prices and Specs in Egypt After Local Assembly Announcement
The Egyptian automotive market has entered a new chapter with the ROX Motor brand, following the official announcement of a partnership agreement between El-Araby El-Sewedy Investments (ESI) and the Chinese automaker, leading to the establishment of ROX ESI Egypt. This move paves the way for local assembly of the brand's vehicles in the coming period. Ahead of the local assembly operations, the ROX 01 continues to represent the Chinese brand in the Egyptian market as its first locally offered model, belonging to the large SUV segment and utilizing extended-range electric vehicle (REEV) technology.
ROX 01 Prices in Egypt
The 2026 ROX 01 is available in two trim levels, with the Family variant starting at EGP 3,500,000, while the Aviation variant is priced at approximately EGP 3,585,000. These price points come with a comprehensive equipment package that positions the vehicle competitively in the extended-range electric SUV segment, appealing to buyers seeking a blend of electric performance and long-range capability.
Performance Based on Extended-Range Technology
The ROX 01 is powered by two electric motors delivering a combined output of 470 horsepower, alongside a 154-horsepower gasoline engine that charges the battery while driving. This setup gives the vehicle a total driving range of up to 1,115 kilometers before needing to recharge or refuel. This REEV technology offers daily electric driving flexibility with the peace of mind for long-distance travel without range anxiety.
Dimensions and Interior Space
The ROX 01 belongs to the large SUV category, measuring 5,295 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,869 mm in height, with a wheelbase extending to 3,010 mm, riding on 21-inch sport wheels. The vehicle offers two interior configurations: a six-seater layout with independent seats in the first and second rows, and a seven-seater layout with three rows of seats, catering to larger families.

The ROX 01 comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety and driver assistance systems, including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), multiple airbags, tire pressure monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera.
