Ministry of Industry Highlights Promising Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Opportunities in First Four Months of 2026
The Egyptian Ministry of Industry, through a new report issued by the Industrial Modernization Center, outlined its key activities and achievements during the first four months of 2026. The ministry stated that these efforts included several companies linked to the automotive and vehicle sector.
Supplier and Manufacturer Networking to Strengthen Local Production
Among the reported initiatives was the networking of 8 supplier and manufacturing companies to support import substitution and expand local manufacturing. The program included connecting bus manufacturer MCV with El Araby Group and the Egyptian British Chemicals Company, alongside other participating firms.
Promising Opportunities in Electric Vehicle Manufacturing
The report also highlighted promising investment opportunities across multiple industrial sectors, including laminated glass production and electric vehicle manufacturing, as part of broader efforts to support industrial growth and attract investment in Egypt.
