SAIC Motor has announced that the total number of vehicles delivered across global markets has surpassed 100 million units, a milestone that underscores its long-standing presence in the automotive industry and its continuous operational growth. This achievement reinforces SAIC's position among the world's leading automakers and marks a new chapter in its strategy to expand into electric and intelligent mobility solutions by developing advanced vehicles that combine performance, technology, and sustainability.

IM Motors: SAIC's Spearhead in Smart Electric Vehicles

IM Motors, a subsidiary brand under SAIC Motor, plays a pivotal role in executing this strategy. Since 2022, the brand has successfully delivered approximately 300,000 vehicles globally, reflecting its rapid growth trajectory in the smart electric vehicle segment. IM Motors was established through a partnership between SAIC Motor, Alibaba, and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech under the slogan 'Intelligence in Motion,' aiming to develop intelligent electric cars that offer advanced levels of performance, comfort, and digital connectivity, while relying on modern technological solutions that enhance the driving experience.

IM Motors Enters the Egyptian Market via Mansour Group

IM Motors has entered the Egyptian market through Mansour Automotive Group, as part of a strategy to support the shift toward electric mobility and boost the adoption of smart vehicles locally. The brand is introducing a range of models in Egypt, including the IM5, a full-size luxury smart electric sedan; the IM6, a mid-size sport utility vehicle designed for daily and family use; and the IM LS7, a large sport utility vehicle that offers high levels of spaciousness, comfort, and technology.

Record-Breaking Performance and Exceptional Electric Range

The IM Motors lineup features advanced specifications, with one model achieving a driving range of up to 820 kilometers, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.74 seconds, and a top speed of 240 km/h. The vehicles also offer high maneuverability thanks to a small turning radius, along with outstanding results in the global Moose Test, which evaluates stability, agility, and obstacle avoidance capabilities.

IM Motors vehicles are equipped with an integrated suite of comfort, safety, and smart connectivity technologies. Some trims include advanced driver-assistance systems, massive digital displays, and constant internet connectivity, placing them among the most technologically advanced cars in their class. With IM Motors entering the Egyptian market, consumers seeking luxury electric vehicles that combine stunning performance with intelligent technologies now have more options, accelerating the transition toward sustainable mobility in Egypt.
