The Geely model excels in sporty performance and offers a slightly longer range, while the BYD Dolphin stands out with its flexible battery financing options.
Pricing and Trims in the Egyptian Market
The Geely Galaxy EX2 is available in two main trims, with the PRO trim starting at 749,900 EGP and the MAX trim priced at 849,900 EGP. On the other hand, the BYD Dolphin Surf is offered in a single trim at an official price of 949,900 EGP, featuring an option to pay a portion of the car's price upfront and finance the battery cost over 8 years.
Performance and Electric Range
The Geely Galaxy EX2 is powered by an electric motor that delivers a driving range of 325 to 395 km per charge, depending on the trim. It accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h in just 4.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 130 km/h.
Meanwhile, the BYD Dolphin utilizes a 38.88 kWh battery generating 75 hp, providing a range of 300 km in normal driving conditions. It also supports fast charging, allowing the battery to be charged in just 30 minutes.
Dimensions, Technology, and Smart Features
The Geely Galaxy EX2 boasts a compact turning radius of 4.95 meters, complemented by a rear suspension setup that enhances stability in narrow city streets. Conversely, the BYD Dolphin is equipped with a 10.1-inch rotating touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with advanced safety systems to ensure maximum passenger protection.
