Galaxy EX5 EM-i Hybrid Officially Launched in Egypt Starting from EGP 1.4 Million
Abou Ghaly Motors, the official distributor of Chinese brand Galaxy in Egypt, has officially launched the second model from the brand in the local market during a recent launch event. The new vehicle is the Galaxy EX5 EM-i Hybrid, arriving in two trim levels for Egyptian customers.
Galaxy EX5 EM-i Hybrid Pricing in Egypt
The hybrid SUV is offered in two variants, with the first trim priced at EGP 1,399,900, while the second trim is priced at EGP 1,549,900. The model positions itself as a strong contender in the competitive hybrid utility vehicle segment.
Hybrid Powertrain and Performance
The Galaxy EX5 EM-i Hybrid is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine paired with a front-mounted electric motor. The combined system delivers 218 horsepower and 262 Nm of torque, enabling the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds. It is equipped with an 18.4 kWh battery, providing a total driving range of up to 1,060 km on the full hybrid system.
Fuel Efficiency and Cargo Space
The vehicle achieves a fuel consumption rate of 4.3 liters per 100 km, making it an economical choice for daily driving. The cargo area offers 528 liters of space, which can be expanded to 2,065 liters by folding the rear seats, offering significant storage flexibility.
Infotainment, Technology, and Safety
Inside, the Galaxy EX5 EM-i Hybrid features a 15.4-inch infotainment screen running the Flyme Auto system, a 16-speaker audio setup, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 13.8-inch head-up display. For safety, the vehicle is equipped with multiple airbags and a suite of ADAS driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and various other safety features.
