Galaxy EX2 Launched in Egypt at EGP 750,000
Abou Ghaly Motors has officially introduced the Galaxy brand, specializing in electric and hybrid vehicles, to the Egyptian market for the first time. The company unveiled the first model under the new Geely-affiliated brand in Egypt: the Galaxy EX2, a fully electric compact hatchback designed for city driving.
Galaxy EX2 Pricing in Egypt
The new Galaxy EX2 is available in Egypt in two trim levels. The first trim is priced at EGP 749,900, while the second trim is priced at EGP 849,900.
Galaxy EX2 Powertrain and Performance
The vehicle is powered by an electric motor delivering a total output of 115 hp and 150 Nm of torque. It achieves a top speed of 130 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.6 seconds. The car relies on a 40.8 kWh battery pack, offering a driving range of 395 km on a single charge.
Galaxy EX2 Battery and Charging
The battery can be charged from 10% to 100% in 8.5 hours using a standard charger. Fast charging is also supported, allowing the battery to go from 30% to 80% in just 25 minutes.
Galaxy EX2 Dimensions and Cargo Space
The Galaxy EX2 measures 4,135 mm in length, 1,805 mm in width, and 1,580 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. Ground clearance stands at 160.8 mm for the first trim and 162 mm for the second trim. The vehicle seats five passengers and offers a rear cargo capacity of 375 liters, expanding to 1,320 liters with the rear seats folded.
Galaxy EX2 Interior Features
Inside the cabin, the Galaxy EX2 features a Flyme Auto infotainment system with a 14.6-inch touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, and remote control via smartphone.
Galaxy EX2 Safety Systems
On the safety front, the car is equipped with front, side, and curtain airbags, along with a Level 2 ADAS system that includes 12 functions such as lane keeping assist and automatic emergency braking.
