Zero-Interest Financing: Ezz El Arab Star Launches Smart EV Deals from EGP 21K Monthly
Ezz El Arab Star has introduced new financing packages for Smart electric vehicles in Egypt. The offers include an extended installment plan with 7-year repayment starting at EGP 21,814 monthly, plus a flexible financing option with 0% interest for two years. Customers also receive 3 years of free maintenance and a battery warranty covering 8 years or 160,000 kilometers. The promotion applies to the Smart #1 crossover and Smart #3 coupe.
Ezz El Arab Star, the official distributor of Smart electric vehicles in Egypt, just rolled out a fresh batch of limited-time financing packages. The offers cover both the Smart #1 crossover and the Smart #3 coupe-styled model.
Financing Plans and Payment Structures
The first option is the extended installment program. Buyers put down a 50% down payment, administrative fees are completely waived. The repayment period stretches up to 7 years. Monthly installments here start at EGP 21,814.
Then there's the easier financing route. A 50% down payment applies, again with zero administrative costs. The headline feature? A 0% interest rate for the first two years of the contract.
Maintenance Packages and Warranty Coverage
The perks go beyond mere financing. Complimentary periodic maintenance covers the first 3 years, the vehicle warranty extends to 5 years or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
The battery warranty is notably longer — 8 years or 160,000 kilometers. It's a strong vote of confidence in the product. A direct challenge to rivals in Egypt's growing EV segment. This kind of coverage tackles the biggest buyer hesitation head-on: battery longevity.
Smart models carry an engineering pedigree from Mercedes-Benz, developed through a joint design effort. The Egyptian market currently receives two main body styles: the Smart #1 crossover and the sportier Smart #3 with its coupe-like silhouette.
The timing matters. Egypt's premium EV arena is heating up, with more brands entering the fray each quarter. High bank interest rates have long priced out potential buyers — these packages aim to reset that equation and put a luxury electric car within closer reach.
