Expeed X9 Arrives in Egypt with 1602 km Range and EGP 3.6 Million Price Tag

Raya Auto, the official distributor of Expeed in Egypt, has unveiled the all-new Expeed X9, marking the model's debut in the local market. This MPV is offered in a single trim and features a Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) powertrain, combining a gasoline engine with an electric motor.

Exceptional Range Exceeding 1,600 km

The Expeed X9 boasts a combined driving range of over 1,600 kilometers, specifically 1,602 km, making it a compelling choice for long-distance travel without frequent charging stops.

The Expeed X9 is available in Egypt in a single Flagship trim, priced at EGP 3,599,000.

Range-Extended Powertrain

The vehicle utilizes the REEV system, which integrates a conventional internal combustion engine with an electric drive. The gasoline engine acts as a generator to charge the battery, optimizing energy efficiency and extending the overall range.

Engine Specs and Ultra-Fast Charging

The Expeed X9 is powered by an electric motor producing 286 hp, paired with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine generating 150 hp. It is equipped with a 63.3 kWh battery pack, achieving a fuel consumption rate of 6.4 liters per 100 km, and a 60-liter fuel tank. The vehicle rides on an 800-volt electrical architecture supporting ultra-fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 10% to 50% in just 12 minutes using a rapid charger, adding 313 km of range in 10 minutes.

The Expeed X9 measures 5.3 meters in length, 1.98 meters in width, and 1.78 meters in height, with a wheelbase of 3.16 meters, ensuring a spacious cabin.
