Dongfeng BOX EV: The Cheapest Chinese Car in Egypt Starts at EGP 770,000

SN Automotive, the exclusive dealer of Dongfeng in Egypt, has introduced the Dongfeng BOX electric vehicle as the most affordable model offered by the Chinese brand in the local market this June.

Powertrain and Performance

The Dongfeng BOX is powered by an electric motor producing 70 kW (95 hp) and 160 Nm of torque. It supports fast charging and is available with two battery options: one offering a range of 300 km and the other delivering up to 430 km on a single charge.

Design and Dimensions

Classified as a subcompact hatchback, the Dongfeng BOX measures approximately 4 meters in length. Its long wheelbase ensures generous interior space, while the cabin accommodates four passengers and features a two-tone design for a modern look.

Interior Features

The cabin includes a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster, a 10-inch high-resolution central touchscreen, a wireless phone charger, a rearview camera, parking sensors, and full LED lighting.

The new Dongfeng BOX EV is officially priced from EGP 770,000 for the version with a 330 km range, while the variant offering a 430 km range is priced at approximately EGP 870,000.
