The countdown has ended as Qasrawi Group, the official distributor of the AVATR brand in Egypt, prepares to officially unveil the all-new AVATR 07 REEV within hours. This marks the model's first appearance in the local market, making it the first vehicle from the Chinese brand to feature range-extender electric vehicle (REEV) technology in Egypt, a significant step in the growing electric vehicle landscape.

Specifications and Performance of the AVATR 07 REEV

The AVATR 07 REEV belongs to the mid-size SUV segment, powered by an electric drivetrain supported by a turbocharged petrol engine that acts as a generator to recharge the battery while driving, while the electric motors alone handle wheel movement. The vehicle is equipped with an LFP battery pack with a capacity of 39.05 kWh, and is available in two trim levels.

The Luxury trim features a single electric motor with rear-wheel drive, delivering 310 horsepower and 333 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds, with a total driving range of up to 932 kilometers based on the NEDC standard. In contrast, the Performance trim comes with dual electric motors and all-wheel drive, producing a combined output of 500 horsepower and 595 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, with a driving range of up to 900 kilometers and a top speed of 180 km/h.

The vehicle measures 4,825 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and stands at 1,620 mm for the Luxury trim and 1,610 mm for the Performance trim, with a wheelbase of 2,940 mm. The cabin features Nappa leather upholstery with ventilation and heating for the front seats, heating for the rear seats, and power memory functions for the driver and front passenger seats.
