AVATR 07 REEV Officially Launches in Egypt: Prices Start at EGP 2.29 Million

Qasrawi Group, the official distributor of AVATR in Egypt, has officially launched the all-new AVATR 07 REEV in the local market, marking the brand's first extended-range electric vehicle (REEV) in the country. This midsize SUV enters a competitive segment, offering a blend of electric driving capability and long-distance flexibility tailored to Egyptian consumers seeking modern powertrain solutions.

Powertrain and REEV Technology

The AVATR 07 REEV features an electric powertrain backed by a turbocharged petrol engine that acts as a generator to recharge the battery during driving, while only electric motors drive the wheels. The entry-level Luxury RWD variant uses a single electric motor with rear-wheel drive, producing 310 hp and 333 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds. The higher Premium AWD and Premium Vision AWD trims are equipped with dual electric motors and all-wheel drive, delivering a combined 500 hp and 595 Nm of torque, achieving the 0–100 km/h sprint in 5.5 seconds, with a top speed of 180 km/h.

Battery and Electric Range

The vehicle is powered by an LFP battery pack with a capacity of 39.05 kWh, providing an electric-only range of up to 180 kilometers. When combining battery charge with the fuel tank, total driving range reaches approximately 1,000 kilometers, making it suitable for both daily urban commutes and long highway trips without range anxiety. The REEV technology optimizes fuel efficiency in city driving while ensuring extended capability for longer journeys, a growing trend in the Egyptian automotive market.

The AVATR 07 REEV measures 4,825 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,620 mm in height, with a wheelbase that enhances stability and interior space. Official prices start at EGP 2,290,000 for the Luxury RWD, EGP 2,690,000 for the Premium AWD, and EGP 2,790,000 for the top-spec Premium Vision AWD. It competes with other electric and hybrid SUVs in the market, including models from BYD and Zeekr, offering advanced technology and strong performance to environmentally conscious buyers looking for premium features and extended range.
