The US dollar exchange rate against the Egyptian pound maintained relative stability during mid-trading hours on Monday, June 1, 2026, across major Egyptian banks, as market participants closely monitored any potential movements in the American currency in the coming period.
At National Bank of Egypt, the dollar was quoted at 52.14 EGP for buying and 52.24 EGP for selling, holding steady at previous levels without notable fluctuations.
Bank of Egypt recorded identical rates, with the dollar at 52.14 EGP for buying and 52.24 EGP for selling, reflecting aligned pricing policies among major state-owned banks.
Meanwhile, at Commercial International Bank (CIB), the dollar reached 52.12 EGP for buying and 52.22 EGP for selling, showing a marginal difference compared to government-owned banking institutions.
