Toyota has posted a strong performance in the Egyptian automotive market during May, registering 732 passenger cars across various traffic departments and licensing offices nationwide. This figure placed the Japanese brand in ninth position among the most licensed car brands in the country.

On a month-over-month basis, Toyota jumped five spots in the rankings, moving up from 14th place in April 2026, when it recorded only 540 cars, according to data from the Egyptian Compulsory Motor Insurance Pool. This notable climb reflects the brand's improving momentum in the local market.

In cooperation with its exclusive distributor, Toyota Egypt, the company is working to strengthen its local presence by expanding its showroom and service center network, alongside introducing new models targeting various consumer segments. The strategy aims to restore Toyota's position among the top-selling brands in Egypt.
