Toyota Corolla Ranks 17th in Egypt’s Most Registered Cars List for April
The family-oriented Toyota Corolla sedan has secured the 17th position in Egypt’s list of most registered new private passenger cars for April, according to data released by the Egyptian Compulsory Motor Insurance Pool.
According to the official figures, a total of 272 Toyota Corolla units were registered across traffic departments nationwide during the past month, reflecting a relatively subdued demand for this popular family model.
Why Toyota Corolla Sales Are Declining in Egypt
Industry experts attribute the declining sales of the Toyota Corolla in Egypt over recent months to its rising price compared to rivals, particularly as the Corolla no longer offers significant technological advancements in terms of features, relying largely on its well-known reputation for reliability in the market.
2026 Toyota Corolla Prices in Egypt
The new 2026 Toyota Corolla is available with prices starting from EGP 1,280,000 for the Active trim, while the Comfort trim is priced at EGP 1,380,000, and the third Smart trim at EGP 1,480,000.
The Smart trim with a glass roof now costs EGP 1,580,000, while the top-spec Elegance trim has reached EGP 1,630,000 after the latest price increase.
Safety Features of the New Toyota Corolla
The 12th-generation Corolla offered in Egypt comes with standard safety features including airbags, an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and Hill-start Assist Control (HAS).
The high-spec trim also includes a sunroof, a wireless smartphone charger, and wireless smartphone connectivity.
