A new car auction is set to launch on May 14 in Egypt, organized by the Government Services Authority under the Ministry of Finance. The auction will feature a diverse range of passenger cars, engines, and motorcycles from Port Said Customs, along with goods from Alexandria, Damietta, and Port Said customs. The auction includes passenger cars and vehicle brands, as well as 2 motorcycles from leading manufacturers. The lineup features Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes, Mini Cooper, Toyota, Chevrolet, Volkswagen, and Skoda. These brands offer a wide spectrum of options, from economical daily drivers to luxury models, catering to various budgets and preferences.
Key Goods in the Alexandria Customs Auction
In addition to vehicles, the auction comprises goods from Alexandria, Damietta, and Port Said customs, including a loader, excavator, forklift, bearings, and auto parts. These items are particularly valuable for construction companies, contractors, and automotive repair shops, broadening the auction's appeal beyond individual car buyers.
Terms and Conditions Brochure Price for Port Said Customs Auction
The auction supervisory committee clarified that some vehicles offered for bidding are licensable while others are not, as detailed for each lot in the terms and conditions brochure. To participate, buyers must purchase the brochure for 400 Egyptian pounds, available at the headquarters of the General Authority for Government Services in the Ministry of Finance towers, extension of Ramses Street, Building 2. The brochure fee is non-refundable if no items are won.
Insurance Requirements for Port Said Customs Auction
The authority set the auction entry insurance at 50,000 Egyptian pounds. Bidders must pay 30% of the lot value immediately upon winning, with the remaining balance due within 15 days from the auction date. The supervisory committee noted that participants representing entities or companies must provide a tax card or commercial registry, while individual participants only need to present a valid national ID card.
