US Report Reveals Top 3 Best-Selling Cars in Egypt for Q1 2026

Focus2Move (F2M), the US-based global automotive market research agency, has released a new report based on GAD international data, revealing the best-selling models in the Egyptian market during the first quarter of 2026. The data confirms the continued dominance of locally assembled cars at the top of the sales chart, with three models leading the list.

Nissan Sunny Takes the Lead

The locally assembled Nissan Sunny family sedan secured the top spot as the best-selling car in Egypt, recording a year-on-year growth of 28.8% and maintaining its leadership for the second consecutive year. The 2027 model is available this June in three trims, with official prices starting from EGP 765,000 for the Base A/T, EGP 800,000 for the Mid A/T, and up to EGP 835,000 for the top-spec Super Salon.

Chevrolet T-Series Outperforms Passenger Cars

The Chevrolet T-Series, locally known as 'Al-Dababa,' ranked second on the best-seller list, achieving a 12.3% growth compared to the same period last year. The commercial vehicle is offered in two trims, with prices starting at EGP 1.05 million for the Box version and around EGP 1.15 million for the AC-equipped variant.

Hyundai Elantra AD in Third Place

The Hyundai Elantra AD claimed the third position on Focus2Move's list of best-selling cars in Egypt during Q1 2026, registering a 12% year-on-year increase. Prices for the Elantra AD start at EGP 999,000 for the Smart trim, EGP 1.1 million for the Modern, EGP 1.115 million for the Modern Sunroof, while the top-tier Top Line variant is priced at approximately EGP 1.215 million.
