Top 10 Best-Selling Car Brands in Egypt for March
A recent report from the Egyptian Automotive Market Information Council (AMIC) has revealed the performance of car sales in the Egyptian market during March, recording significant growth across all vehicle segments.
Total automotive sales in Egypt reached approximately 17,700 units in March, representing a year-on-year increase of about 65.5%.
Strong Growth in Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles
Passenger car sales surged by nearly 70%, reaching around 14,000 units. Bus registrations also climbed by 74% to hit 1,195 units, while light and heavy commercial vehicle sales grew by 43% to total 2,439 units.
Egypt's Top 10 Best-Selling Automotive Brands in March
Nissan led the rankings with a 21% market share after delivering 3,762 vehicles, followed by Chevrolet in second place with 2,626 units and a 15% market share.
MG secured the third position with 1,565 units and a 9% market share, followed by Chery with 1,364 vehicles (8% share), and BAIC in fifth place with 1,134 units representing 6% of the market.
Rounding out the top ten, Toyota recorded 822 sales with a 5% share, followed closely by Changan with 811 units (5%), Hyundai with 803 vehicles (5%), Renault with 683 units (4%), and Peugeot closing the list with 583 cars and a 3% market share.
