Suzuki Alto Returns to Egypt as the Cheapest New Car at EGP 535,000
Modern Motors, the official exclusive distributor of Suzuki in Egypt, has announced the return of the all-new Suzuki Alto to the local market at an official price of EGP 535,000, positioning it as the most affordable brand-new car currently available in Egypt.
Single Trim with Front-Wheel Drive
The new Suzuki Alto targets buyers seeking an economical daily commuter or a first car for young drivers. It is offered in a single trim equipped with a manual transmission, making it an attractive option for those prioritising low ownership costs without compromising essential features.
Three-Cylinder Engine and Compact Dimensions
The new Suzuki Alto is powered by a three-cylinder petrol engine with a displacement of 998 cc, producing 67 horsepower and 89 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox that drives the front wheels, delivering adequate performance for city driving while maintaining fuel efficiency.
Belonging to the compact five-door hatchback segment, the car measures 3530 mm in length, 1490 mm in width, and 1520 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2380 mm. It accommodates five passengers and offers a 214-litre boot capacity, along with a 27-litre fuel tank, dimensions well-suited for urban mobility.
Safety and Standard Equipment
The new Suzuki Alto comes with a comprehensive safety package that includes six airbags, an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), rear parking sensors, an engine immobiliser, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and a child safety lock, raising the safety bar in this budget-friendly segment.
On the equipment front, the car features manual air conditioning, front power windows, central locking with remote control, a 12V power outlet, a sound system with two front speakers, halogen headlamps, and 13-inch steel wheels, covering the essentials for everyday use.
The new Suzuki Alto is available in the Egyptian market in a single manual-transmission trim at a list price of EGP 535,000. This pricing makes it the lowest-cost new car on offer locally, and it is expected to attract a wide range of consumers looking for an economical and reliable vehicle.
