Modern Motors, the official local distributor of Suzuki in Egypt, has announced plans to reintroduce the compact Suzuki Alto hatchback to the local market after nearly four years of absence. Previously considered the most affordable new car in Egypt, the model was discontinued from the lineup in 2022. With its impending return, it is expected to regain its position as a leading budget-friendly option in the market.

Suzuki Alto Specifications and Engine Performance

The current version available on the used car market is powered by a 3-cylinder, 800 cc engine producing 47 horsepower with electronic fuel injection and front-wheel drive. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine delivers exceptional fuel efficiency, averaging 3.0 liters per 100 kilometers, with a 35-liter fuel tank and a top speed of 130 km/h, making it one of the most fuel-efficient cars in Egypt.

Dimensions and Interior Space

The Suzuki Alto measures 3.49 meters in length, 1.47 meters in width, and 1.45 meters in height. It offers a rear trunk capacity of 177 liters, suitable for daily errands. This space can be expanded to 432 liters by folding the rear seats, providing extra room for luggage or larger purchases.
