Soueast S08 Set for Egyptian Market Debut on June 24

MAN East, the local distributor of the Chinese Soueast brand in Egypt, is preparing to launch the all-new Soueast S08 on June 24, marking the model’s first appearance in the Egyptian market. The seven-seat family SUV enters one of the most competitive and fast-growing vehicle segments.

The arrival of the Soueast S08 comes at a time when demand for large SUVs equipped with advanced features continues to grow, positioning the model as a potential strong contender within its category.

Powertrain and Performance

In global markets, the Soueast S08 is equipped with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain that combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor. According to manufacturer data, the system delivers a total output of approximately 255 kW, equivalent to around 340 horsepower, along with 525 Nm of torque.

Dimensions and Interior Space

The SUV features dimensions that reflect its family-oriented character, measuring 4,810 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,705 mm in height. The wheelbase extends to 2,820 mm, helping provide generous cabin space for occupants.

Safety and Driver Assistance Systems

The Soueast S08 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety and driver-assistance technologies, including multiple airbags, ABS and ESP systems, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, safe-exit warning, and semi-autonomous driving support features.

Technology and Cabin Features

Inside, the SUV offers a technology-focused cabin highlighted by a large central touchscreen and an advanced infotainment system with smart smartphone connectivity. Higher trims also feature a 360-degree surround-view camera system.
