Expanding Presence in Egypt’s Commercial Pickup Segment

RELY is reinforcing its presence in the Egyptian automotive market through its participation in the Al Ahram Transport Exhibition 2026, where it showcased the new RELY R8 pickup truck. The model is designed to support light transportation duties and a wide range of commercial operations, reflecting the brand’s focus on serving business-oriented customers.

The exhibition appearance forms part of the company’s broader strategy to strengthen the RELY brand in Egypt and introduce its latest commercial vehicle lineup to the local market. The move comes as Egypt’s transportation and logistics sectors continue to experience strong momentum, creating increased demand for practical and capable pickup trucks.

Focus on Operational Efficiency and Customer Support

According to Engineer Nour El Din El Sherif, Chief Executive Officer of Nour El Din El Sherif Group, the Al Ahram Transport Exhibition serves as an important platform for direct engagement with customers and companies operating in the transportation sector. He noted that the event provides an opportunity to showcase the solutions offered by the company to meet evolving market requirements.

He added that the introduction of the RELY brand in Egypt aims to provide vehicles that combine operational efficiency with strong economic value. The vehicles are supported by an integrated sales and after-sales service network, a key element in enhancing customer confidence and supporting long-term ownership needs.

Engine Specifications, Dimensions, and Capability

The new RELY R8 is powered by a 2.4-liter Mitsubishi gasoline engine producing 118 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. Power is delivered through a 5-speed manual transmission paired with a 4WD four-wheel-drive system, giving the pickup the capability required for demanding commercial applications and daily work environments.

In terms of dimensions, the RELY R8 measures 5,370 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,915 mm in height, while riding on a 3,230 mm wheelbase. The cargo bed measures 1,530 x 1,620 x 515 mm, providing substantial load-carrying space for commercial users. The pickup also offers notable hauling capabilities, with a net payload capacity of 625 kg and a maximum towing capacity of 3 tons when using a trailer. These figures position the RELY R8 as a practical commercial pickup designed to meet the transportation needs of businesses seeking durability, functionality, and dependable performance.
