Public Auction for Cairo Airport and Safaga Customs Cars Including Hyundai, Nissan, and Kia
The General Authority for Government Services, affiliated with the Ministry of Finance, announced a major public auction for the sale of several lots of used cars, belonging to abandoned, confiscated, and forfeited vehicles from Cairo International Airport Customs and Safaga Sea Port Customs.
Auction Date and Location
The Central Sales Department, overseeing the sale, stated that the auction session will be held on Thursday, June 25, at 12:00 PM, at the Giza Sports Club Hall on Al-Bahr Al-Azam Street in Giza Governorate.
Cars Offered for Sale
The auction includes a diverse range of passenger cars, pickup trucks, and minibuses, featuring 18 vehicles from brands such as Komodo, Porsche, Mercedes, Chrysler, Hyundai, Mazda, BMW, Toyota, Isuzu, Dodge, Nissan, Jeep Cherokee, Kia, Ford, GMC, Chevrolet, Cadillac, Hummer, Mitsubishi, Geely, Suzuki, Infiniti, and Audi.
Auction Participation Requirements
The authority confirmed that participation requires purchasing the terms and specifications booklet, sold for 400 EGP, available at the General Authority for Government Services headquarters in the Ministry of Finance towers, extension of Ramses Street, Tower No. 2. Additionally, a security deposit of 50,000 EGP must be paid before the auction day.
Sale Process Details
The supervising committee emphasized that the sale is commission-free and that inspection forms the basis of the purchase. The winning bidder must pay 30% of the deal value immediately after the auction session, with the remaining amount to be paid within no more than 15 days.
