Port Said, Damietta and Alexandria Customs Auction Generates EGP 82.655 Million in Sales
The General Administration of Customs Abandoned Goods and Auctions in Port Said, together with the corresponding administrations in Damietta and Alexandria, in coordination with the General Authority for Government Services, announced the results of a new public auction session held at Giza Sporting Club on Al Bahr Al Aazam Street beneath Abbas Bridge in Giza.
105 Lots of Used Vehicles and Goods Offered
The auction featured 105 lots, including used vehicles and a variety of goods from abandoned and stored customs inventories located at the customs ports of Port Said, Damietta and Alexandria.
30 Vehicle Lots Sold from Port Said Customs
The session resulted in the final sale of 30 vehicle lots from Port Said Customs for a total of EGP 24.665 million. In addition, the security deposit for one lot, valued at EGP 50,000, was confiscated.
The auction also recorded the sale of 9 goods lots from Port Said Customs for EGP 11.3544 million, 4 goods lots from Damietta Customs for EGP 25.810 million, and 7 goods lots from Alexandria Customs for EGP 20.7757 million.
Total Auction Proceeds Reach EGP 82.6554 Million
According to the announced results, a total of 50 lots comprising vehicles and goods were sold, generating overall proceeds of EGP 82.6554 million.
