The General Authority for Government Services, affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Finance, is preparing to hold a public auction for a number of passenger cars (saloon) seized or abandoned at the Port Said Maritime Customs. The session is scheduled for July 16th at the Giza Sports Club hall, located on Al-Bahr Al-Azam Street under Abbas Bridge in Giza Governorate.

Auction Vehicle Brands & Models

According to the tender document, the auction will feature a wide range of passenger cars from various brands. The lineup includes vehicles from Hyundai, Kia, Chevrolet, Mini Cooper, Mercedes, Toyota, and Skoda. The selection covers different models and model years, offering diverse options for potential buyers looking for used cars at a governmental auction.

Participation Conditions & Financial Requirements

The supervisory committee has set clear rules for bidders. All participants must purchase a tender document for 400 Egyptian pounds from the General Authority for Government Services headquarters in the Ministry of Finance towers on Ramses Street (Tower 2). This fee is non-refundable. Furthermore, a security deposit of 50,000 Egyptian pounds is required. Upon winning a lot, the buyer must pay 30% of the vehicle's value immediately, with the remaining balance due within 15 days from the auction date.

Required Documents for Bidders

For corporate or institutional participants, a tax card or commercial registry is mandatory. Individual participants only need to present a valid national ID card. This auction represents a notable opportunity in the Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes, Toyota, and Chevrolet market, often offering vehicles at competitive starting prices.
