Mansco, the official distributor of Peugeot in Egypt, is preparing to introduce the updated facelift version of the Peugeot 408 in the coming period. This update applies to the third generation, which first debuted in mid-2022 with a crossover fastback design, replacing earlier sedan generations.

Exterior and Interior Design Changes

The facelift brings noticeable exterior updates, starting with a redesigned front end featuring new headlights, daytime running lights, and a revised grille. Peugeot's signature three-claw lighting design appears both front and rear, complemented by an LED light bar stretching across the front of the car. The side profile remains largely unchanged, though new wheel designs ranging from 17 to 20 inches are available depending on the trim. At the rear, the Peugeot lettering is now illuminated, and a new Fire Green color joins the palette.

Cabin and Infotainment Upgrades

Inside, the cabin retains its original layout but gains new seat upholstery. The display setup includes a 10-inch digital instrument cluster with fresh graphics and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. These features ensure a connected and comfortable driving experience for both driver and passengers.

Production and Manufacturing in France

All updated Peugeot 408 models are produced in France: hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants are built in Mulhouse, while the all-electric e-408 is manufactured in Trémery, at a joint venture facility between Stellantis and Nidec. The car is expected to arrive at Egyptian showrooms soon, with pricing and full specifications to be announced at launch.
