Opel Corsa 2026 Arrives in Egypt with Single Trim and EGP 1.25M Price Tag
Mansour Automotive, the local distributor for Opel in Egypt, has introduced the Corsa 2026 model year with a single trim level available during August. The car belongs to the compact hatchback segment, blending a sporty design with dimensions suited for daily urban driving. A turbo engine and a wide range of comfort and safety features headline the package.
Opel Corsa Pricing in the Egyptian Market
The Opel Corsa 2026 is offered in only one specification called Topline+. The official price stands at 1,250,000 Egyptian pounds, positioning the car squarely in the turbocharged hatchback category. A single trim means buyers don't have to choose between different equipment levels.
Engine and Performance
The Corsa relies on a 1.2-liter turbo engine producing 130 horsepower. Maximum torque reaches 230 Newton-meters, a solid figure for the hatchback class. The engine pairs with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, driving the front wheels.
Sprint from standstill to 100 km/h takes 8.7 seconds. Average fuel consumption sits at 4.6 liters per 100 kilometers — sensible numbers for this displacement. The powertrain delivers a practical balance between everyday performance and fuel efficiency.
Dimensions and Exterior Design
Length measures 4060 mm and width 1960 mm, while height reaches 1433 mm. The wheelbase spans 2538 mm, giving the car a compact footprint ideal for city streets without sacrificing cabin room. The rear trunk offers 309 liters of cargo space.
Sporty 17-inch wheels reinforce the dynamic character of the Opel Corsa. Sharp lines and slim headlights define the exterior, giving the car a contemporary look befitting a European hatchback.
Safety Systems and Equipment
Safety gear includes 6 airbags, anti-lock braking system ABS, electronic brake-force distribution EBD, and electronic stability program ESP. Hill-start assist HAC comes as standard, along with the new Corsa model.
Lane departure warning, forward collision mitigation, panoramic rear camera, tire pressure monitoring, and traffic sign recognition — all systems boost passenger safety. The intelligent braking system adds an extra protection layer in emergency situations, reflecting the modern trend toward raising safety levels in small cars offered in the local market.
