Nissan Egypt, the exclusive distributor of the Japanese brand in the Egyptian market, has announced June 8 as the official debut date for the all-new Nissan Magnite, a subcompact crossover making its first appearance in the country.

With the Magnite, Nissan aims to strengthen its position in one of the most competitive vehicle segments in Egypt, as growing numbers of automakers continue to introduce compact crossover models designed to meet the needs of a broad customer base.

Engine and Performance

In its Japan-market specification, the Nissan Magnite is powered by a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 99 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque.

Dimensions and Cargo Capacity

The Nissan Magnite measures 3,994 mm in length, 1,758 mm in width, and 1,572 mm in height, while riding on a 2,500 mm wheelbase. Ground clearance stands at 205 mm.

Rear cargo capacity is rated at 336 liters and can be expanded to 690 liters by folding the rear seats in a 60:40 configuration, enhancing the vehicle's practicality for everyday use.

The crossover is equipped with a 40-liter fuel tank and delivers fuel efficiency of approximately 17.9 km per liter according to ARAI standards, placing it among the more fuel-efficient vehicles in its segment.

Interior Features

Inside, the Magnite comes equipped with electric power steering, ABS brakes with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and a 7-inch central display designed to provide key driving information.

The vehicle also offers driver-assistance features such as Eco Scoring and Eco Coaching, helping drivers improve driving habits and reduce fuel consumption.

Safety Systems

The Nissan Magnite includes a range of safety technologies and protection features, although the complete safety package was not detailed in the available article text.
