Nissan Egypt Launches Locally Assembled Magnite with $45 Million Investment
The investment is massive. Nissan Egypt has officially launched the locally assembled Magnite across the country, following the successful start of production at its factory in 6th of October City. The event was grand, attended by senior government officials and diplomats. The company invested $45 million to make it happen.
First Assembly in Africa
This marks the first time the Nissan Magnite is being assembled on the African continent. The $45 million investment went into upgrading the passenger car assembly facility to accommodate the new model. Local content exceeds 55%, directly supporting Egypt's national automotive development program and Vision 2030. The goal is clear: turn the country into a regional manufacturing and export hub.
