MG Leads Chinese Auto Registrations in Egypt in First 7 Months of 2026
Impressive numbers from Egypt's auto market. Chinese brand MG topped the list of Chinese auto registrations in Egypt during the first 7 months of 2026, with a total of 11,896 cars, according to the latest report from the Egyptian Motor Third-Party Insurance Pool. Demand for Chinese cars keeps growing.
Full Ranking of Chinese Brands in Egypt
The competition is fierce. Chery came in second with a total of 10,593 registered cars, while Jetour secured the third spot after recording about 8,918 cars during the same period. The gap between first and second exceeds a thousand cars.
Soueast grabbed fourth place. The brand registered 6,558 cars, followed by Changan in fifth with 4,245 cars, then Geely in sixth with a total of 3,646 cars. The Chinese are dominating the scene.
Lower Ranks and the Digital Gap
The numbers decline clearly. BAIC registered about 3,319 cars, while BYD reached 2,937 cars, and Haval came ninth with a total of 1,917 cars, while GAC took tenth place with about 1,726 cars. The top ten are breathing a sigh of relief.
What does this mean? The report indicates that MG maintains its strong momentum, while Jetour looks forward to more growth in the coming months. The Chinese battle in Egypt isn't over yet.
