First Electrical Substation Activated to Serve 500 Factories

A report received by Engineer Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, revealed the activation of the first electrical distributor in the southwest industrial zone of 10th of Ramadan City, which spans an area of 2,200 feddans. This project is part of a comprehensive plan to establish 18 electrical distributors to serve the entire industrial area. The new distributor is expected to provide stable electricity supply to approximately 500 factories, significantly enhancing the region's readiness for industrial expansion and attracting new investments in various manufacturing sectors.

The Minister emphasized the importance of accelerating the implementation of road, electricity, and utility projects while adhering strictly to technical specifications and timelines. She stressed the need for integration between urban and industrial development projects to improve services for citizens and investors, supporting the state's sustainable development plans.

Upgrading Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant and Utilities

In support of the necessary infrastructure for industrial activity, the report indicated that rehabilitation and efficiency improvement work on the industrial wastewater treatment plant is nearing completion. This vital project will directly meet the needs of existing factories and future industrial projects, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and sustainable water resource management practices.

Monitoring Housing Projects and Services in Hadayek 10th of Ramadan

In Hadayek 10th of Ramadan city, the Minister followed up on the implementation rates of the Green Housing project under the presidential initiative 'Housing for All Egyptians.' Finishing work, facades, internal roads, and site landscaping are currently ongoing. The report also covered the development of the technology center serving citizens to facilitate access to government services, along with ongoing inspection campaigns to remove encroachments on public utilities and illegal water network connections, as well as cleanliness and beautification drives aimed at improving the city's overall urban landscape.
