Automotive enthusiasts and investors in Egypt are gearing up for a significant government car auction scheduled for March 30, 2026. This highly anticipated event stands as one of the most prominent customs car auctions in the Egyptian market, featuring a diverse inventory from Alexandria, Salloum, and Dekheila Customs, alongside items from the Alexandria, Matrouh, and Dekheila ports.
Vehicle Lineup and Featured Brands
The auction catalog boasts a wide array of vehicles, including passenger cars, pickup trucks, motorcycles, beach buggies, excavators, and loaders. Renowned automotive brands featured in this event include BMW, Audi, used Kia models, Jaguar, and Hyundai cars in Egypt.
The lineup is further expanded with vehicles from Chrysler, Range Rover, Porsche, Ford, Chevrolet, Volkswagen, Renault, Hummer, Daewoo, and Samsung, as well as Caterpillar excavators.
Automotive Spare Parts and Accessories
Beyond complete vehicles, the customs auction will offer a comprehensive selection of automotive components. Bidders can find various spare parts and related items, such as gearboxes, tires, general car spare parts, and motorcycle spare parts.
Auction Terms, Conditions, and Requirements
The auction committee has clarified that the licensability of the vehicles varies. Some units are fully licensable, while others are sold as non-licensable, strictly depending on the condition of each lot as detailed in the official auction booklet. Prospective buyers must purchase the auction terms booklet for EGP 400. This booklet is available at the headquarters of the General Authority for Government Services, located at the Ministry of Finance Towers on Ramses Extension, Tower 2.
Please note that the booklet fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether a purchase is made. Furthermore, the authority confirmed that all participants are required to pay an insurance deposit of EGP 10000 to secure their entry into the bidding process.
