Madbouly Reviews Giza Investment Plan and Road Projects to Enhance Traffic Network Efficiency

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly chaired an expanded meeting to review the implementation status of Giza Governorate’s investment plan, with particular focus on road projects and efforts to upgrade the governorate’s traffic network. The meeting was attended by Minister of Local Development and Environment Manal Awad, Giza Governor Ahmed El Ansary, Major General Engineer Ahmed Hisham Fadel, Assistant Advisor to the President for Planning and Development, and Major General Mohamed El Gedawy, Director of the Licensing Department at the Armed Forces Engineering Authority. The review formed part of ongoing efforts to assess project progress and monitor infrastructure initiatives aimed at improving mobility and transportation efficiency across the governorate.

Investment Plan Progress Under Review

Discussions focused on the execution status of several projects included in Giza’s investment plan, particularly those related to road development and traffic network upgrades. Officials reviewed measures designed to strengthen infrastructure and improve the performance of local roads and transportation corridors. The meeting also highlighted the importance of maintaining implementation schedules to ensure that development targets are achieved on time. Enhancing transportation infrastructure remains a key component of broader plans intended to improve public services and support sustainable development throughout the governorate.

Completion of Major Development Projects

Ahmed El Ansary, Governor of Giza, confirmed the completion of a significant number of major projects carried out across the governorate. These included development works in the Abu Rawash industrial zone as well as upgrades to the area surrounding the Grand Egyptian Museum. Additional completed projects covered road paving programs and initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency of the local road network. The governor also pointed to administrative building upgrades and improvements to the traffic management system, alongside environmental enhancement projects and local economic development initiatives.
