Toyota Egypt, the official distributor of Lexus in the local market, has officially launched the brand's first fully electric vehicle in Egypt: the Lexus RZ. The model marks Lexus's entry into the Egyptian EV segment, built on the global e-TNGA platform and offered in two distinct trims.

Lexus RZ Pricing in Egypt

The Lexus RZ is available in two variants: the Executive trim priced at EGP 3.5 million, and the Sport trim at EGP 3.85 million. The vehicle comes with an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty on the battery and electric motors, along with a 5-year or 150,000 km warranty on the car itself.

It offers a driving range of up to 695 km on a single charge and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds. The Sport trim, on the other hand, comes with dual electric motors and all-wheel drive, producing a combined 408 horsepower. Its range stands at 450 km per charge, with a 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of just 4.4 seconds.

Charging Capabilities

The Lexus RZ can be charged using an AC charger at up to 22 kW, completing a full charge in approximately 3 hours. It also supports fast charging, reaching 80% in about 30 minutes. The all-wheel-drive variant features steer-by-wire technology and a steering wheel inspired by Formula 1 cars, while the Sport trim rides on 20-inch alloy wheels.
