Ibrahim Labib, the executive director of the pool, assigned all officials at the headquarters and branches to monitor the incident's developments closely. Full cooperation with the affected families is now the top priority. The pool pledged to provide the necessary support and guidance to facilitate compensation disbursement procedures and answer all inquiries from those affected.

Compensation Value and Calculation Method

EGP 100,000 is the full compensation for each death case. The pool confirmed this figure, explaining that the compulsory insurance policy covers deaths and injuries resulting from car accidents. For injuries, compensation is determined according to the disability percentage approved by the medical committee and specialized medical authorities, under the provisions of the law — a precise process that takes time to complete all reports.

Citizens and families of victims are required to submit their documents as soon as they obtain them. Procedures can be initiated at the headquarters located at 44 Abdel Moneim Riad Street, branching from El-Batal Ahmed Abdel Aziz Street in Mohandessin, Giza, or through the branches in Tanta, Minya, and Ismailia. An electronic option is also available for submitting documents and starting procedures remotely.
