Jetour has officially entered the compact SUV arena in Egypt with the launch of the all-new Jetour J7, announced by local distributor El Araby Group. The vehicle is currently available in a petrol-only configuration, with a plug-in hybrid variant expected to follow in the near future.

Turbocharged Performance and Dimensions

184 horsepower is no small number for this segment. The J7 draws its power from a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine generating 184 hp and 275 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox that delivers smooth shifts to the front wheels — a setup built for quick urban runs and confident highway cruising.

The dimensions place it squarely in the compact crossover class. Measuring 4,500 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width, and 1,680 mm in height, the Jetour J7 offers a commanding road presence while keeping cabin space generous for both front and rear passengers.

Cabin Technology and Safety Suite

Inside, Jetour loaded the J7 with impressive tech, including an 8-speaker Sony sound system, voice command functionality, and a 540-degree surround-view camera that gives drivers a near-complete picture of their surroundings. Parking sensors at both ends and a 50W wireless charging pad round out a well-equipped cabin aimed at younger buyers.
