Minister of Industry Khaled Hashem affirmed that the government is moving forward with plans to localize vehicle manufacturing and automotive components through a comprehensive package of investment incentives and facilitation measures. He noted that the objective extends beyond attracting investment to include technology transfer, increasing local content, creating jobs, and transforming Egypt into a regional automotive manufacturing hub serving both regional and global markets.

He further noted that the government has launched numerous incentives and investment facilitation measures aimed at attracting investors, with a strong focus on increasing the added value of locally manufactured products and raising local content levels in vehicle and component production.

The minister concluded by emphasizing that the Ministry of Industry remains committed to implementing supportive policies for the sector and providing manufacturers and investors with the necessary facilitation measures to achieve the country's goal of building a fully integrated automotive industry and reinforcing Egypt's position as a regional manufacturing and export center.
