Hyundai Venue Nears Local Assembly in Egypt via GB Auto

GB Auto, the official distributor of Hyundai in Egypt, is preparing to introduce several new models that have not yet been offered in the local market. According to industry sources, the Hyundai Venue—the smallest crossover in the Korean brand's lineup—is expected to be among the first additions.

Expected Engines for the Hyundai Venue in Egypt

The Venue is anticipated to arrive with two engine options. The first is a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder unit producing 121 hp, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The second option is a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine delivering 120 hp and 172 Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed automatic gearbox.

Local Assembly for the Hyundai Venue

The vehicle is expected to undergo local assembly in Egypt in the coming period, which should positively impact its final price. Early estimates suggest the Venue could be priced below one million Egyptian pounds, potentially driving strong sales, especially given Hyundai's trusted reputation in the local market.

The Hyundai Venue is a compact, economical family crossover with an overall length of 3,995 mm and a rear cargo capacity of 355 liters. It features an 8-inch infotainment display, a rearview camera, and air conditioning with rear vents for passenger comfort.
