Development and Upgrading of Hawamdeya Car Bridge Completed to Enhance Safety

Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansari, Governor of Giza, has announced the completion of development, upgrading, and paving works on the Hawamdeya car bridge, as part of the governorate's plan to improve the road network and traffic axes and facilitate citizen movement.

The governor explained that the works were carried out by the Governorate's Roads Directorate and included developing and paving the bridge over a length of 800 meters and a width of 6 meters per direction, contributing to higher traffic efficiency and ensuring the required smooth flow for vehicles.

Al-Ansari added that the works included paving, maintenance of expansion joints, curbstones, and sidewalks, as well as maintenance and painting of the bridge's iron railings to enhance safety elements.

The Governor of Giza pointed out that the governorate continues to implement development plans and upgrade roads and traffic axes across various sectors, aiming to achieve easier mobility and improve the quality of services provided to citizens. The works were supervised by Engineer Nagwa El-Said, Director of the Governorate's Roads Directorate.
