Haval Jolion Locally Assembled Prices Increase by EGP 35,000 in Egypt

GB Auto, the official distributor of Haval in Egypt, has announced a price increase for the locally assembled Haval Jolion 2027 model year. The hike reaches EGP 35,000 across the available trims. The new pricing applies to all versions currently offered through authorized dealerships.

The base trim of the Haval Jolion now starts at EGP 985,000, while the mid-tier version climbs to EGP 1,035,000. The fully loaded third trim reaches EGP 1,135,000. The price gaps between trims mirror the substantial difference in equipment and driver assistance features. But does this new positioning still make sense in the compact SUV segment?

Under the hood sits a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 148 horsepower at 5,600–6,000 rpm. Peak torque hits 220 Nm between 2,000 and 4,400 rpm, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch automatic transmission (7DCT). The powertrain delivers a well-balanced mix of daily performance and fuel efficiency for mixed driving conditions.

Dimensions and Exterior Design

The vehicle measures 4,472 mm in length, 1,841 mm in width. 1,619 mm in height, riding on a 2,700 mm wheelbase. These carefully engineered proportions translate into generous cabin space and stable high-speed behavior. Haval focused on maximizing passenger room without compromising the overall aerodynamic profile.

Safety equipment is comprehensive; the list includes ABS, EBD. ESP systems, plus traction control, electronic stability, and hill start and descent assist. Higher trims come with up to 6 airbags. The top-tier version adds advanced driver assistance systems such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist with departure warning, blind spot monitoring, and traffic jam assist. A 360-degree surround-view camera and an automatic parking system round out the tech package.

Inside, a 14.6-inch infotainment screen supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, complemented by a digital instrument cluster measuring up to 7 inches. Dual-zone automatic climate control is also part of the equipment list depending on the chosen trim. This latest Haval price adjustment arrives amid a string of frequent pricing changes across the local market.

The compact crossover segment is fiercely contested. The revised price of the Jolion places it in direct competition with strong rivals. The advanced driver assistance suite in the top trim could still give it an edge among tech-savvy buyers.
