The Egyptian Businessmen's Association has announced the launch of the second edition of the Golden Triangle for Investment, Industry, and Export conference next Monday. Held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the event will feature wide participation from ministers, government officials, business leaders, and investors.
A Key Driver for the Egyptian Economy
The conference holds special significance for the automotive sector, highlighting its role as a premier industrial driver capable of attracting direct investments, boosting exports, and enhancing the value added to the national economy.
Positioning Egypt as a Regional Automotive Hub
Eng. Magued El-Din El-Manzlawi, Secretary-General of the Egyptian Businessmen's Association and the conference, emphasized that the automotive industry and its components are a fundamental cornerstone for translating investments into tangible production and new job opportunities. He noted that Egypt's strategic location and advanced infrastructure provide a strong opportunity to transform the country into a regional hub for vehicle manufacturing and exports.
Expanding Electric Vehicle Production and Local Manufacturing
The conference agenda includes discussions on expanding electric vehicle manufacturing, deepening local production capabilities, and supporting feeder industries. It also focuses on improving the investment climate by streamlining customs procedures and providing industrial land at competitive prices.
Leveraging Global Supply Chain Shifts
During the event, the Egyptian Businessmen's Association will explore ways to capitalize on global shifts in supply chains to attract further industrial investments. A major focus will be on increasing exports and opening new markets for Egyptian products, particularly automobiles and their components.
Ultimately, the Golden Triangle conference aims to formulate an integrated vision that links investment, production, and exports, placing the automotive sector at the very heart of the industrial and economic growth strategy for the upcoming phase.
