GB Auto Sells Over 10,000 Vehicles in Egypt During Q1 2026
GB Auto, the official distributor of multiple automotive brands in Egypt, has delivered a strong sales performance in the first quarter of 2026, selling more than 10,000 vehicles during the first three months of the year.
GB Auto Q1 Sales Breakdown
The company recorded total sales of 10,776 vehicles in the January-March 2026 period, distributed across the various brands it represents in the Egyptian market.
Sales by Brand
Chery led the sales chart with 4,610 units, followed by Hyundai with 3,563 vehicles. Changan came in third with 1,717 units, while Haval sold 513 vehicles. DBAL accounted for 315 units, Li Auto sold 37 vehicles, Mazda 14 units, and Genesis 7 cars.
Chery Overtakes Hyundai in Sales
Notably, Hyundai, which was GB Auto's first agency in Egypt, has fallen from its traditional top spot. This shift is attributed to Chery's strong performance, offering competitively priced vehicles with high specifications and a trusted brand name. Additionally, Changan has outperformed Haval, which has yet to establish a strong foothold in Egypt. However, Haval may strengthen its presence in the coming period as local assembly of its vehicles begins.
