GB Auto Cuts Deepal S05 Prices in Egypt by Up to EGP 76,000

GB Auto, the local distributor for Deepal in Egypt, has announced price cuts on the S05 crossover by as much as EGP 76,000. The latest price list reveals the REEV plug-in hybrid version dropped from EGP 1.675 million to EGP 1.599 million. That's a significant move.

Price Reduction Details on Deepal S05 Trims

The fully electric BEV version also saw a reduction, falling from EGP 1.825 million to EGP 1.750 million, a saving of EGP 75,000. This adjustment makes the Deepal S05 the most affordable model in the brand's current Egyptian lineup. Competition is heating up.

The Deepal S05 positions itself in the compact crossover segment, offered in two distinct powertrain configurations. The first uses an extended-range electric system (REEV) that pairs an electric motor with a petrol engine acting as a generator, while the second is purely electric.

BEV Version Specifications

The BEV variant is powered by a motor producing 175 kW, roughly equivalent to 235 horsepower. Driving range reaches 460 kilometers on the NEDC cycle. Fast charging capability takes the battery from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes.

Inside, the Deepal S05 features a large 15.4-inch central touchscreen supporting all connectivity options. Wireless phone charging comes with a cooling system to prevent overheating. An augmented reality head-up display projects vital info onto the windshield.
