First Batch of BYD Electric and Hybrid Cars Delivered in Egypt

Man Dream, the official distributor of BYD vehicles in Egypt, has announced the start of deliveries for the brand’s first batch of vehicles in the local market, following the recent launch of its first models in the country.

The initial batch includes the fully electric BYD Dolphin Surf, the fully electric BYD Sealion 6, and the hybrid versions of the Sealion 6 in Ultra and Luxury trims, equipped with BYD’s DM-i hybrid technology. This move marks another significant step in the expansion of electric and hybrid vehicles within the Egyptian automotive market.

Deliveries at Sheikh Zayed Technology Center

Car deliveries are being carried out through BYD’s first technology center in Sheikh Zayed. The facility includes a vehicle showroom, a service and maintenance center, and a spare parts center. The company stated that the new center is designed to provide integrated aftersales and customer support services for BYD owners in Egypt.

BYD Warranty in Egypt

Man Dream also confirmed plans to expand its dealer and distributor network across Egypt in the coming period. The company announced that BYD vehicles in Egypt will come with a 6-year or 150,000 km comprehensive warranty, an 8-year or 200,000 km battery warranty, and 6 years of free roadside assistance. These warranty packages are expected to strengthen BYD’s position among buyers considering electric and hybrid vehicles in Egypt.

BYD Prices in Egypt

The BYD Dolphin Surf fully electric starts from EGP 849,900 for the first trim. The fully electric BYD Sealion 6 starts at EGP 1,549,900. For the hybrid BYD Sealion 6 DM-i, the Ultra trim is priced at EGP 1,749,900, while the Luxury trim is priced at EGP 1,949,900.
