Upcoming Finance Ministry Auction: A Chance to Grab Luxury Cars Below Market Price
The General Authority for Government Services, under the Egyptian Ministry of Finance, is preparing to hold a new public auction featuring a diverse range of passenger cars previously used by various government entities. The auction will include models from leading global brands such as Hyundai, Toyota, and Mercedes, offering a rare opportunity for buyers seeking luxury vehicles at prices that may be significantly lower than those in the traditional used car market. The final price of each vehicle will vary depending on its condition and the level of competition among bidders during the sale session.
Auction Details and Available Brands
The authority confirmed that the auction will include cars and vehicles from several government agencies, along with trucks, minibuses, and motorcycles, reflecting a wide variety of models and marques. Among the prominent brands featured are Hyundai, Toyota, Mercedes, BMW, Nissan, Chevrolet, Kia, Chery, Geely, Mitsubishi, Ford, Peugeot, Fiat, Volkswagen, Mazda, Isuzu, Daihatsu, Lada, Suzuki, and others. The auction aims to provide individuals and dealers alike with access to vehicles at competitive prices, with the final value determined by each car's condition and the bidding dynamics during the sale.
Participation Terms and Conditions
The General Authority for Government Services has established a clear set of rules for those wishing to enter the auction, ensuring an organized and lawful process. These conditions include purchasing the terms and specifications booklet from the authority's headquarters and paying a temporary deposit of 50,000 Egyptian pounds to participate. Individuals must provide their national ID card, while companies are required to submit their commercial register and tax card. The authority emphasized that compliance with all conditions outlined in the auction booklet is mandatory, and the sale will be conducted in accordance with the Public Contracts Law.
Interested buyers are also permitted to inspect the vehicles in person before the auction session, following the procedures detailed in the terms booklet. This auction is part of a series of events organized by the Ministry of Finance and the General Authority for Government Services, aimed at maximizing the utilization of government assets and vehicles, and providing genuine purchasing opportunities at competitive prices for citizens and traders. Prospective bidders are advised to prepare in advance and carefully review the auction booklet's conditions before the scheduled date.
