EGP 400,000 for Two Letters and One Number: Exceptional License Plate Steals the Show at Traffic Auction
A fierce competition is heating up among license plate enthusiasts in Egypt's latest traffic auction, as a unique plate combination has quickly captured attention. The plate bearing the characters 'A H 7' has emerged as one of the most outstanding offerings, featuring just two letters and a single digit—a rare combination highly sought after by collectors and car owners looking for distinction.
The plate has already reached a price of EGP 400,000, with expectations of further increases before the bidding closes next Thursday. Proceeds from the auction of distinctive license plates go to Tahya Misr Fund, a key supporter of Egypt's economy and social justice initiatives, aimed at improving the lives of large segments of the Egyptian population.
The fund collaborates with state institutions, civil society organizations, and the private sector to finance social, health, and urban development projects, as well as economic empowerment programs. These initiatives target the most needy groups, including shelter and rehabilitation services for homeless children, debt relief for indebted individuals and families, and the provision of food supplies to vulnerable communities.
